5-Axis CNC Machining

Eifel has embraced zero stock machining as a core part of its advanced manufacturing process since 2005. 5-Axis CNC and zero-stock machining strategies produce precision mold surface finishes that require little to no post-treatment. This contributes to overall shorter lead times. 

Eifel achieves successful zero-stock surfaces by researching, testing and implementing new technologies in cutting tools, work holding and software.

3 + 2 Machining

3+2 Machining

An alternative advantage of our 5-Axis CNC technology is the 3+2 Machining method. The workpiece is positioned using the rotary axes, and machining is performed in the X, Y, and Z axes.
